Dehradun, 15 May: The process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Uttarakhand is due to begin on 29 May under the directions of the Election Commission of India. In this context, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Dr BVRC Purushottam held a meeting with representatives of recognised national political parties at the Secretariat here today. During the meeting, he sought their cooperation in ensuring that no eligible voter is left out and no ineligible voter is included in the rolls.

He explained that the revision will be conducted with 1 July 2026 as the qualifying date. Printing of enumeration forms and training of staff will take place between 29 May and 7 June, followed by door-...
