Dehradun, 24 Oct: The BJP today strongly condemned Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav for allegedly describing people from Uttarakhand as infiltrators in Uttar Pradesh and also questioned the silence of the Congress leadership over the controversy. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today, BJP state spokesperson and senior MLA Vinod Chamoli accused the Congress of extending political protection to Akhilesh Yadav and asked who was responsible for repeatedly allowing the people of Uttarakhand to be insulted while remaining silent on the issue.
