Srinagar (Garhwal), 4 Jun: Thursday was a historic day for long-serving employees of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. In the second phase, the university administration distributed permanent appointment letters to 97 Level-1 employees. Upon receiving the appointment letters, the joy of years of struggle was clearly visible on the employees' faces.

State Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat and Devprayag MLA Vinod Kandhari were the chief guests at the appointment letter distribution ceremony held in the university's ACL Hall.
