Dehradun, 16 Mar: Preparations for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls scheduled to begin in April have gathered momentum in Uttarakhand. The officials stated today that 87 percent of voter mapping in the state has already been completed.
On the initiative of Chief Electoral Officer DR BVRC Purushottam, the officials from the Election Department of Rajasthan visited Uttarakhand to share their experience and best practices in conducting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
