Dehradun, 7 Apr: Under the auspices of the School Education Department, the 'Praveshotsav' (Enrolment Festival) was celebrated with great enthusiasm in secondary and primary schools as part of the 'School Chalo Abhiyan' (Back-to-School Campaign). During this special drive, a total of 67,815 new students from Class 1 to Class 12 were enrolled in government and private schools across the state. Newly admitted students were welcomed with flower garlands and were also provided free textbooks.
