New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Kia India, which is currently leading the mass-premium car market, today announced the delivery of 150 Kia Syros EVs to customers in Kochi through its dealer partner, Incheon Kia. The milestone reflects the growing customer confidence in electric mobility and its increasing acceptance as a practical choice for everyday mobility.

Kia Syros EV Range and Battery Details

The newly launched Kia Syros EV has long-range capability, performance, charging convenience and an industry-leading ownership proposition. Syros EV has a very good range - the official data reveals that Syros EV has a segment-best ARAI-certified range of 526 km (MIDC Full) with the 51.4 kWh Extended Range battery.

Kia Syros EV is the first vehicle in its segment to cross the 500 km range mark. It also delivers segment-best 171 PS power output and best-in-segment DC fast charging, charging from 10 to 80% in 39 minutes with a 100 kW charger.

Kia Syros is available at just Rs 7.99 lakhs through BaaS

To address the affordability and customer confidence, the all new Kia Syros EV is backed by a 15-year unlimited-kilometer Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) starting at Rs 7.99 lacs and an Assured Buyback programme offering up to 80% resale value after 3 years.

As part of Kia India's broader commitment to sustainable mobility, 150 Kia Green Workshops across India are making the company's service network more eco-friendly and sustainable through initiatives such as solar-powered facilities and the recycling of water and other materials.

Important Notes

- Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty: 15 years with unlimited kilometres for the first owner (not for commercial vehicles e.g. Taxi / Fleet etc.). For the second owner - battery warranty is 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes earlier.

- Assured Buyback: 80% resale value after 3 years, is a limited period introduction and available to customers purchasing Syros EV within 60 days of launch. However, the programme will continue thereafter with revised terms.
