Liberia, Aug. 14 -- My fellow Liberians,

Today, I speak to you not merely as a lawyer. I speak as a Liberian citizen, as an educator, as a parent, and as a political leader who believes deeply that the survival and prosperity of the Liberian Republic depend upon the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law, accountable government, and institutions that serve the people rather than powerful individuals.
