Liberia, Aug. 25 -- Senior Unity Party officials led a spirited dedication ceremony over the weekend in Saclepea City, Nimba County as the party officially opened a new District 7 Office, a move party leaders say will strengthen grassroots organizing and signal the administration's resolve on national security issues, including the fight against illegal drugs.

Longtime party supporter Anthony Myers was honored during the ceremony after providing funds to secure the office space.

Party officials said Myers' contribution helped fast-track renovations and furnished the office, creating a central point for District 7 Party activities, membership registration and constituent services.
