NIMBA COUNTY, Sept. 18 -- There is a version of Nimba County politics that has held for a generation. Influence flows through party structures, and party structures flow through a handful of dominant personalities. It is the version built by the late Prince Yormie Johnson and carried forward, in different form, by the Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction (MDR), the organization that still counts the majority of the county's sitting lawmakers among its ranks.
