Liberia: SpoonTV CEO Cuts a Deal, Trades Prison for Testimony
Monrovia, Sept. 10 -- SpoonTV CEO Stanton Witherspoon has secured his release after prosecutors credited him with providing substantial assistance in the investigation and prosecution of a multimillion-dollar scheme involving the sale of fraudulent nursing diplomas and transcripts.

Witherspoon, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, was originally sentenced in November 2023 to 41 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
