Monrovia, Sept. 3 -- There was still no ruling Thursday on a motion for compassionate leave filed on behalf of former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, as the presiding judge of Criminal Court "C" did not appear in court to hear or deliver a decision on the matter.

The ruling had been scheduled for Thursday, September 3, at Criminal Court "C" at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.

Taylor's defense lawyers arrived at the courthouse and remained in the courtroom from approximately 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., awaiting the judge.

Among the attorneys present were Cllr. Cabina Ja'neh, Cllr. Finley Kangar and Cllr. Lavala Superwood.
