Liberia, July 7 -- The National Elections Commission (NEC) has concluded the final phase of its nationwide stakeholder consultations on a draft Communications Strategy, Policy and Protocol, describing the exercise as a major step toward strengthening transparency, accountability and public confidence in Liberia's electoral process.

The two-day consultation, held in Monrovia on July 2, brought together approximately 30 participants, including journalists from major media institutions in Montserrado County, senior staff of the NEC Secretariat and representatives of media development organizations.
