Liberia, July 9 -- The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Liberty Party(LP) has reinstated the leadership of the party's National Youth Congress and announced the formation of committees to oversee elections for both the Youth and Women Congresses.

In a statement issued Monday, the party said the decision followed the conclusion of an investigation into the conduct of the Youth Congress leadership and subsequent disciplinary actions.

The NEC said the Youth Congress leadership, headed by Othello Garpue, complied with the corrective measures imposed by the party during their suspension and accepted the disciplinary process without opposition.
