Liberia, June 10 -- Former Monrovia City Mayor and Secretary General of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Jefferson Tamba Koijee, has earned a Master's degree in Counterterrorism and International Security from Reichman University in Israel.

Koijee, who served as Mayor of Monrovia for six years, announced the achievement through videos and photographs shared on social media following his graduation ceremony.

"I was conferred with a Master's degree in Counterterrorism, Intelligence, and International Security (Government) from Reichman University, one of Israel's most prestigious private universities, educating students from over 90 countries around the world," Koijee said in a message shared via WhatsApp.
