Liberia: Jury Clears Former LTA Boss Abdullah Kamara of All Corruption Charges
Liberia, June 15 -- Former Acting Chairman of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), Abdullah L. Kamara, has been acquitted of all corruption-related charges after a unanimous verdict by a 12-member jury sitting at the Second Judicial Circuit Court in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
The verdict brings an end to one of Liberia's most closely watched corruption cases, which stemmed from allegations surrounding the implementation of the government's Digital Transformation Program.
