Monrovia- The murder conviction of Valington B. Kaiser, alias "Bishop," has been overturned by the Supreme Court of Liberia, declaring that the evidence presented by the prosecution failed to sufficiently corroborate the case against him and ordering that his rights and dignity be restored.
Kaiser, who has spent more than three years behind bars at the Monrovia Central Prison, walked away from the country's highest court a free man Friday, following the landmark decision.
