MONROVIA, Aug. 19 -- Former Vice President and National Patriotic Party (NPP) Standard Bearer Jewel Howard Taylor has appeared before the Liberia National Police (LNP) for questioning in connection with the ongoing cocaine investigation.

Taylor's appearance at the LNP headquarters on Wednesday morning marks a new development in the widening drug investigation, which has continued to attract national attention and generated intense public discussion over the identities and possible connections of individuals being questioned by authorities.
