Monrovia, Oct. 1 -- A group of elders and concerned members of the Gold and Diamond Brokers Union (GDBU) has endorsed Omar Sekou Kamara for president of the organization ahead of its upcoming election.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Joseph D. Jallah said their decision was based on what they described as Kamara's experience, commitment, integrity, and willingness to serve the interests of members.

"We stand before you today as elders and a group of concerned and committed members of this Union to publicly express our support for Mr. Omar Sekou Kamara," Jallah said.
