Liberia, July 2 -- Communications professionals from World Bank-supported projects, government ministries and agencies in Liberia have undergone a capacity-building workshop aimed at strengthening how development results are communicated to the public.

This is a critical step toward building trust, promoting accountability and deepening citizen engagement in the country's development process.

Organized by the World Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, the workshop focused on mainstreaming communications into World Bank-financed projects.
