Liberia, July 13 -- China's Ambassador to Liberia, Yin Chengwu, has praised Liberian journalists for helping deepen public understanding of China and strengthening the longstanding relationship between the two countries through objective and balanced reporting.

Speaking Friday at the 7th Induction Ceremony of the Reporters Association of Liberia (RAL) in Monrovia, Ambassador Yin congratulated the Association's newly inducted leadership headed by President J.H. Webster Clayeh and lauded the media's contribution to promoting mutual understanding between Liberia and China.

"It is your reports that have vividly presented China and the China-Liberia relationship to the Liberian people," Ambassador Yin told journalists.
