Monrovia, Sept. 11 -- President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. has shaken up several government ministries and agencies, announcing a wave of new appointments this week.

Cllr. Oswald Natu Tweh takes over as Acting Minister of National Defense, stepping in for Geraldine J. George. Over at Commerce and Industry, Stephen Marka Yekeson Jr. steps into the acting minister role, replacing Magdalene E. Dagoseh. Both George and Dagoseh will be reassigned to other government positions.

The president also tapped Christopher Ben Bailey to serve as Acting Superintendent of Grand Gedeh County. At the National Food Assistance Agency, Mike Khailelu B. Jabateh moves into the role of Acting Deputy Director General for Publicity.
