MONROVIA, May 8 -- As Liberia gears up for its first-ever National Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition, the Ministry of Mines and Energy has signed a major service agreement with international events firm AME Trade Ltd. to organize and execute the high-profile gathering aimed at attracting investment and showcasing the country's natural resource potential.

The agreement, signed on May 7, 2026, outlines a strategic collaboration between the Ministry and AME Trade Ltd. to plan, market, finance, and deliver the international conference and exhibition, which is expected to bring together investors, policymakers, development partners, and key industry stakeholders from across the globe.
