Liberia, July 26 -- Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) Political Leader and Standard Bearer, Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah Sr., has called for Liberia's 179th Independence Anniversary to serve as a renewed commitment to improving the lives of ordinary citizens, declaring that the nation's freedom should be measured by the well-being of its people rather than by history alone.

In an Independence Day message issued Sunday, July 26, Kemayah said Liberia's independence must be "felt not only in name but in the lives of every Liberian," urging citizens to unite around a shared vision of economic empowerment and national development.
