Liberia, July 4 -- Several people are feared dead, while others sustained critical injuries following a devastating head-on collision involving two commercial taxis in Suakoko, Bong County.

According to eyewitness accounts gathered at the scene, the crash occurred when a yellow commercial taxi traveling from Gbarnga to Monrovia reportedly attempted to overtake another vehicle and collided head-on with a silver commercial taxi traveling from Monrovia toward Gbarnga or Ganta.

The impact of the collision left both vehicles extensively damaged and beyond repair.
