Liberia, July 15 -- Grand Kru County Superintendent, Antoinette W. Nimely, has appointed the Director General of the National Aquaculture and Fisheries Authority (NaFAA), J. Cyrus Saygbe Sr., as Chairman of the Steering Committee for the county's participation in the 2026 National County Sports Meet.

The appointment was announced in a letter dated July 7 following Grand Kru County's selection as one of the host counties for the qualifying round of the 2026 National County Sports Meet after a draw conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on June 24. Grand Kru has been placed in Group D alongside Margibi and Bomi Counties.
