Liberia, April 12 -- With profound sorrow and heartfelt grief, we regret to announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Waito E. Davis (WED).

This sad event occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in New York, United States of America, after a brief illness.

She leaves to mourn her children:Clarice Yaskey, Wesley Davis, Joyce Pukie Selekpoh, and James Sasha;her mother, Ms. Marie C. Davis;her brothers, sisters, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She also leaves to mourn several family members and friends in Liberia, the United States, Europe, Ivory Coast, India, Africa, and beyond.
