Liberia, Sept. 8 -- Monrovia-Former Liberia National Police Commissioner for Crime Services Johnny Bolar Dean has been forwarded to court and charged with criminal conspiracy, bribery, tampering with a criminal investigation and obstruction of government functions by a public servant, in a case emerging from Liberia's massive illicit drug investigation.

A police charge sheet dated September 1 accuses Dean of accepting US$10,000 from Stephanie Fefe Mensah while police were investigating individuals identified in the case as Edison Brown and Alpha Bah in connection with the alleged US$317 million cocaine trafficking operation.
