India, March 30 -- LamiPak has achieved another important milestone in its sustainability journey by receiving the EcoVadis Silver Medal in the 2026 rating. This recognition places LamiPak among the top 15% of more than 150,000 companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis, one of the worlds most influential sustainability rating organizations.
EcoVadis is widely recognized as a credible global platform for evaluating corporate sustainability performance. Its assessment covers four key dimensions: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement, aiming to help companies improve sustainability practices across their supply chains.
The Silver Medal marks a significant upgrade for LamiPak, following the companys previous recognition with the EcoVadis Committed Badge. Over the past year, the company has continued strengthening its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework through a range of strategic initiatives.
LamiPak also established an EcoVadis Working Group dedicated to improving performance across the four key EcoVadis assessment dimensions. This effort involves cross-department collaboration including Sustainability Development, EHS, Human Resources, Internal Audit, IT, Research & Development, Procurement, and Public Relations.
Through this collaboration, LamiPak has implemented various improvement programs focusing on strengthening green operations, fostering a healthy and inclusive workplace, enhancing compliance and corporate governance systems, and developing a more sustainable supply chain. These efforts have resulted in significant score improvements across all EcoVadis assessment categories.
The achievement of the Silver Medal is a recognition of the collective efforts of the entire LamiPak team in advancing more sustainable business practices. We view this recognition not as the final destination, but as an important step toward even higher sustainability standards, said Anil Kaul, Vice Chairman LamiPak.
Moving forward, LamiPak remains committed to strengthening its sustainability strategy and contributing to a greener, fairer, and more sustainable future for the packaging industry.
