COLOMBO, Oct. 8 -- Sri Lanka's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has warned the public against depositing funds or engaging in trading and investment activities with Quantum AI Limited, saying the company is not authorized to conduct regulated capital market activities in the country.

In a notice issued through its official X account, the SEC said Quantum AI Limited was not licensed, registered or authorized by the SEC to provide securities trading, investment services or any other regulated capital market activities in Sri Lanka.

"The public is strongly advised not to deposit funds, invest, or engage in any trading or investment activities through Quantum AI Limited," the SEC said.
