COLOMBO, Oct. 1 -- S Renganathan, former Managing Director of Commercial Bank of Ceylon, was unanimously re-elected for a second term, as the President of the Sri Lanka-India Society, at its Annual General Meeting held at the Hotel Taj in Colombo on September 29.

Mr Manil Jayesinghe and Mrs A Kailasapillai were elected as Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, respectively, for a second consecutive year.

Representing the Patron of the Society, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha, Counsellor at the High Commission of India Mr Sanjeev Arora attended the AGM and addressed the gathering.
