Sri Lanka, Sept. 10 -- COLOMBO - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and a delegation of Catholic religious leaders led by Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith on Thursday (10) held discussions on national reconciliation, religious harmony and the progress of investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.

The meeting, held at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, focused on the government's efforts to strengthen coexistence, peace and reconciliation among Sri Lanka's communities and prevent racist and religiously motivated hate activities that could undermine national unity.

The progress of investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks was also discussed, according to the President's Media Division.
