India, Sept. 29 -- Wladimir Klitschko has filed an urgent petition in a Los Angeles court seeking temporary guardianship of his 11-year-old daughter Kaya's estate, saying the move is necessary to safeguard her inheritance following the death of her mother, actor Hayden Panettiere.
Petition Filed Over Estate Concerns
Klitschko, the former heavyweight boxing champion and Panettiere's ex-fiance, submitted the petition on September 24. Kaya is Panettiere's sole heir, and Klitschko wants legal authority to initiate probate proceedings and help protect the assets until a permanent administrator is appointed.
