The former heavyweight boxing champion shared a family photograph and a heartfelt message on social media, describing Panettiere as an important part of his life and the mother of their daughter, Kaya.
Klitschko said Panettiere had built an incredible career through her talent while also facing the pressures of a demanding industry. Although the pair were no longer together, he said nothing could erase the memories they shared or the place she held in their family's life.
