India, Oct. 21 -- Actor Vijay Deverakonda said he proposed to Rashmika Mandanna in Udaipur ahead of their wedding after his plan to propose during a December trip to Italy did not work out because he could not find the right ring. The couple is set to share the story on the second episode of Koffee with Karan Season 9, which premieres on JioHotstar on Oct. 21.

Vijay said he had hoped to propose to Rashmika during their December trip to Italy, a few months before their February wedding. He said the plan fell through because he could not find a ring that “felt right.”
