India, Sept. 16 -- Tory Lanez has announced a US tour despite remaining incarcerated, bringing renewed attention to his prison release date following his conviction in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Tour planned behind bars
The rapper, whose real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, is serving a 10-year prison sentence after being convicted in connection with the shooting. He was sentenced in August 2023 and remains incarcerated at California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo.
His newly announced "Not On 'Tor' Tour" is scheduled to begin September 25 at HK Hall in New York and conclude November 13 at Avalon Social in Pittsburgh. Other planned stops include Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and New Orleans.
