India, Sept. 10 -- The Toronto International Film Festival begins Thursday with more than 200 films, bringing John Malkovich, Penelope Cruz, Chris Rock, Helen Mirren and K-pop star Lisa to Canada for a packed programme of premieres and screenings.
Underdog stories lead the programme
The festival's 51st edition opens with Being Heumann, directed by Oscar winner Sian Heder and starring Ruth Madeley and Mark Ruffalo. The biographical drama follows disability rights activist Judy Heumann and her campaign for greater rights.
