India, March 9 -- The Society is back with season 2, and it has dived right into the concept. Day 1 and the reality show is left with 16 contestants (Initially 15, with one joining in later). That is how The Society had its grand premiere on JioHotstar Sparks (OTTplay Premium). The Munawar Faruqui-hosted show, introduced with almost 20 contestants, is now down to 16 contestants. Much from the original season is retained, and the games kickstarted almost instantly. The Grand Premiere entertainment factors were non-existent.
