India, June 23 -- In a case that shocked the nation, Taylor Parker remains one of only seven women on death row in Texas following her 2022 conviction for the murder of Reagan Hancock and the kidnapping of her unborn child.

Parker fabricated a pregnancy for months despite medical records from Dr. Christopher Mason confirming she had a tubal ligation and a hysterectomy in 2014. On the day of the murder, Parker used a small scalpel to remove Reagan Hancock's unborn daughter, Braxlynn Sage Hancock, from her womb. The autopsy of the victim revealed a harrowing scene where Hancock had been beaten, strangled, and repeatedly stabbed. Unfortunately, the infant girl also died following the traumatic extraction.
