India, Aug. 10 -- Several Taylor Swift songs have disappeared from social media videos posted by US President Donald Trump's campaign and the White House, after her music was used in political content without her apparent permission.
Swift Tracks Removed From Videos
The removals include Swift's "August", which appeared in a TikTok video showing Donald and Melania Trump watching fireworks. The post carried a sarcastic caption that appeared to reference Swift directly. Another video used a play on her 2012 album Red, calling it "Red (Donald Trump's Version)" while featuring the president. The audio in the posts was subsequently removed.
Other Swift songs that had appeared across Trump and White House content have also reportedly been muted...
