India, Oct. 14 -- Taylor Swift donated $4 million in 2012 to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville to help fund an education center named after her, and a 2026 museum press release said more than 125,000 people took part in over 2,000 education programs in 2025.

2012 donation and campaign details

Swift’s donation was announced in May 2012. The museum described it as the largest capital gift from an individual artist in its 45-year history.

The museum said the gift was part of its $75 million Working on a Building campaign to expand its Nashville home, and that it was meant to pay for the new education center.

The museum also said the new center could increase its educational capacity by as much as seven times.
