India, Sept. 18 -- Sonu Nigam has clarified that a viral video appearing to show him mocking Salman Khan's singing was edited and taken out of its original context. The singer said the video was actually his reaction to a young Pakistani singer's performance.

The clip circulating on social media showed Salman Khan singing Main Hoon Hero Tera on television while Sonu appeared to make exaggerated expressions and react critically. The edited version included text suggesting that Sonu was "roasting" Salman over his singing.
