India, Oct. 21 -- Singer Sona Mohapatra said she was disappointed by Daler Mehndi’s performance at a Sufi festival in New Delhi and questioned whether respect for veteran artists can come at the cost of professional accountability. Her remarks were shared in an Instagram post as controversy continued over Daler Mehndi’s performance at a cultural event in Uttarakhand, where Uttarakhand Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal reprimanded him on stage.
