India, Aug. 31 -- Randy Quaid has criticised the decision to cast Anne Hathaway opposite Tom Cruise in the upcoming sequel to the 1990 racing drama Days of Thunder, arguing that the film should have brought back Nicole Kidman instead.
Quaid Questions Hathaway's Casting
Quaid, who played NASCAR team owner Tim Daland in the original film, took aim at Hathaway in a social media post following news of her casting. He described her as a "horrible choice" for the sequel and questioned whether she suited the film's audience.
