India, Aug. 7 -- Priyanka Chopra has signed on to star opposite Oscar winner Russell Crowe in the sci-fi action thriller Bluefly, adding another high-profile international project to her growing Hollywood slate. The announcement was met with enthusiastic support from husband Nick Jonas and fans across social media.

Chopra announced the project on Instagram with the caption, "On to the next," confirming that she will headline Bluefly alongside Crowe. Directed by Nimrod Antal, the film is written by David Frigerio, William Eubank and Carlyle Eubank. Production is expected to begin on Australia's Gold Coast later this year.
