India, June 26 -- Tokyo law enforcement officials have referred Japanese actor Nijiro Murakami to prosecutors following a domestic violence investigation into multiple physical attacks against his former girlfriend.
Domestic Violence Allegations
The Harajuku Police Station initiated the probe after the actor's ex-partner filed a report earlier this year. Investigation records indicate that Murakami allegedly assaulted the woman on four separate occasions between March and May 2024 at his residence in Shibuya Ward. The reported violence included the actor punching the woman's face, pulling her hair, and slamming her head into a window. These injuries were significant, requiring more than a month to fully heal.
