Architecting a Fictional Neighborhood
Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews built the primary setting from scratch at Netflix Studios Albuquerque because the community does not exist in reality. The production team meticulously designed entire neighborhoods, streets, and specific storefronts to establish the show's eerie atmosphere. Key custom locations featured throughout the series include Sam's cul-de-sac and a dedicated downtown shopping area.
