India, Oct. 15 -- Netflix on Wednesday announced a new documentary, Untold: Wide Deceiver, examining allegations that Daejon Love posed as a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and used multiple fake identities in an alleged fraud scheme; Love has been arrested on wire fraud charges and the criminal case remains pending.
Allegations outlined by prosecutors
Netflix said the documentary will explore an alleged romance scam involving Love, with prosecutors accusing him of defrauding more than two dozen women of about $1.3 million through fabricated romantic relationships and fraudulent investment opportunities.
