India, Oct. 8 -- Grief and tears filled a Goa hospital on Thursday as Nana Patekar's relatives, friends and associates gathered following the veteran actor's sudden death at the age of 75. Patekar died in the early hours after suffering a cardiac arrest at his residence in Dona Paula.
Family Rushes to Hospital
Patekar was found unconscious at his Goa home and was taken to Manipal Hospital, where doctors attempted to revive him for around 45 minutes. He was declared dead at approximately 5:20 am. His son, Malhar Patekar, travelled to Goa after receiving news of his father's condition.
