India, July 29 -- A Nevada judge has ruled that prosecutors can use a 2008 police interview with Duane "Keffe D" Davis during his upcoming trial over the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur, marking a significant development ahead of proceedings set to begin next month.
Court rejects defence challenge
Judge Carli Kierny ruled that the recorded interview is admissible in Davis' murder trial, which is scheduled to begin on August 10. Davis, 63, is accused of orchestrating Shakur's fatal shooting in Las Vegas and faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole if convicted.
