India, Aug. 5 -- As conversations around working conditions in the entertainment industry continue, actor Jimmy Shergill has drawn attention to the demanding schedules faced by technicians and crew members, saying actors remain far more privileged than those working behind the scenes.
Focus Shifts Beyond Actors
Speaking while promoting his upcoming Netflix series Operation Safed Sagar, Shergill said the industry's biggest challenges are often borne by crew members who routinely work 18-hour shifts in difficult conditions. He stressed that actors receive recognition and better facilities, whereas technicians and production staff shoulder the toughest responsibilities with far less visibility.
